My amazing dad is known for his hugs. If you need a hug or an encouraging word, just locate my dad. He’d be honored. He’s just that way. If you need him he’s there.
He also just happens to be a world-renown entrepreneur. Needless to say, our family is proud of all that he has accomplished and all the many people that he has impacted for the better along the way.
It seems that many times when people encourage, they tip toe to make sure no one gets offended. However, with my dad, he likes encouraging people by telling them like it is and helping them grow as a person. It can be hard to hear at times, but in my case, I always know he’s right…even if I don’t admit it to him.
Last week when we traveled together to a company event in Maui, I asked him to share what life is like for him in a few sentences. He’s so great with words, that after this one take (videoed by my terrific mom), we said, “Perfect!” It’s only fitting that even on the video he’ll encourage you to take an action.
